DESCRIPTION:El martes 27 de diciembre de 2022\, a las 20 horas\, tendrá lugar en el Auditorio Ángel María Boronat de Aspe\, la presentación del libro ganador del XVII Premio de Investigación Manuel Cremades 2022\, titulado “Antonio Sánchez Almodóvar. Un excepcional viticultor en tierras alicantinas (1821-1882)”. Sus autores son Gonzalo Martínez y Juan Ramón Pujalte. El jurado que seleccionó la obra ganadora estuvo compuesto por Rafael Poveda Bernabé\, Carlos Martín Cantarinos y Pilar Tébar Martínez. \nEste premio está promovido por el Museo Histórico del Ayuntamiento de Aspe\, dirigido por María T. Berná García\, coordinadora de la colección y editado por el Instituto Alicantino de Cultura Juan Gil-Albert. \nEn el libro se descubre la interesante y desconocida figura de Antonio Sánchez Almodóvar\, natural de Aspe y ofrece un relato de una vida enormemente atractiva. Médico de profesión emigró a Perú y volvió con una enorme fortuna. Convirtiéndose en un personaje esencial en el panorama vinícola alicantino de parte de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX desde su hacienda Vista Alegre. Antonio Sánchez fue una persona emprendedora y con grandes inquietudes intelectuales. Participó en instituciones de carácter benéfico\, y en asociaciones para el fomento de las actividades agrícolas y el aumento de la prosperidad del país\, llegando a ocupar cargos de responsabilidad en algunas instituciones valencianas.
